Key Mapping
Key mapping is the core feature of the key viewer. You can set which keyboard key to assign to each key.
Key Mode Selection
Select a key mode from the dropdown menu at the top:
- 4key: 4 keys (rhythm game standard)
- 5key: 5 keys
- 6key: 6 keys
- 8key: 8 keys
Each mode has independent settings, and previous settings are preserved when switching modes.
Adding Keys
- Right-click on an empty space in the grid.
- Select Add Key from the menu.
- Click the newly created key and enter the keyboard key to map.
Removing Keys
- Right-click on the key to remove.
- Select Delete Key from the menu.
Changing Key Mapping
- Click on the key to change.
- When the modal appears, press the keyboard key you want to map.
- The modal will close automatically when mapping is complete.
Most keyboard keys can be mapped. Special keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt, etc.) are also supported.
Adjusting Key Position
Drag keys to move them to desired positions. Keys will align to the grid.
Adjusting Key Size
- Click on the key to select it.
- Drag the handles that appear around the key to resize.
Key Style Settings
You can apply custom CSS styles to individual keys by assigning class names.
- Right-click on the key whose style you want to change.
- Select Set Class from the menu.
- Enter a class name. (e.g.,
blue,special)
Enter only the class name without the selector symbol when entering class
names. - ✅ Correct: blue - ❌ Wrong: .blue
Key Image Settings
You can assign images to each key.
- Right-click on the key to set an image for.
- Select Set Image from the menu.
- Select an image file.

- PNG
- JPG/JPEG
- GIF
- WebP
- SVG
